so after having a deep discussion with someone tonight about death.. i started remembering my friends from my freshman yr. Laura, liz, and abi... liz and abi took their lives and laura died in an accident while my best friend and her at the time boyfriend watched.. things were hard and eventually the sad thoughts turn to funny thoughts of the good times with them. this song reminds me of Laura and lets me from time to time go back and remember her.....

if anyone has lost someone take this time to think of the good times... We are here for u.. and if anyone needs to talk im always in vent.. hit me up :)

Everytime I hear this song I think about my dad. I'm actually starting to tear up now.. :(
My dad died when I was 8, he died of Leukemia, which left me, my mom, and my sister to take care of 300 cows and we just couldn't do it so my aunt and her husband moved down here and we moved to the nearby town. So here we are.

About 2 months into dating my girlfriend, I should say my girlfriend that I will eventually get to marry, her dad died. Of course she was distraught, and I tried not to show it but I was too. I always wanted to be a good son-in-law and really get to know and hangout with him as well as help him with household projects. Really I wanted to be accepted by the father of the woman I loved. I'm kinda old fashioned that way. The only thing he said about me was "She could do worse." And just 3 days ago it was the 3 year anniversary of his death. Well this was their song and it makes me sad to think of the father-in-law/son-in-law experience i will never get to have.

18 years ago my father passed away in a car accident. I was only 2, leaving me and my mother in a bad place. Although my mother has remarried and because of that I have my little sister who I love more than anyone else in this world I still wonder what my life would be like if he was still with us.

This is from one of my favorite movies, across the universe. I found this part to be quite touching.
