Well, this week a Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) officer was arrested setting up a deal to traffic cocaine to Detroit. DARE officers job is to go to school and speak to kids about the importance of staying off drugs. What is worse, he was busted setting this deal up in the parking lot of a local elementary school. Wana know what the icing on the cake is. He lives 4 houses down the street from me, next to a house that several months back got busted for moving ecstacy. I was under the impression I lived in a sleepy middle class suburb…

That's just fucking funny. But it's always the people with the power that try to get away with that shit.

Yeah, loads of cops get stoned every day... Hence all those police at the annual marijuana march here in Toronto that escort the crowds around town while they blaze...

i lost all the respect i had for the mafia (cops). when my car got jacked cops were arrested in nyc for shipping stolen cars to russia.
a few days ago my dad got punched in the face by 2 guys rolling shit on the ciorner of my house. my dad of coruse said he fell down. anyway, 2 days later he got arrested by the same dudes but this time they had uniforms and we thought he was missing. we filed a police report and they couldnt find him even after he was processed.
held for 3, almost 4 days and wouldnt even give him his meds. now my dads afraid of going outside and its a fuckin hassle all because some cops think theyre tuff shit with their guns pickin on a 65 year old man with issues.
... fuck'em. plain and simple, fuck'em

I've always hated cops.. they think their badge gives them the right to break their own laws.
All that shit you see in the movies, about cops shooting at bad guys and rescuing the good guys.. is all bullshit. Cops only care about arresting minorities.. people who sell drugs, and people who smoke harmless weed.. people who fucking jump turnstiles.. kids who cut class.. homeless men begging for money.. they do illegal random searches because of your skin color.. even if they are the same fucking race as you..
I seriously hate them with a passion. Especially here in NYC. Crooked cop central.

Not just cops in the U.S. Police agencies are more corrupt in other parts of the world, it's just that when something happens here it gets pasted all over the news. In other countries it's no big deal because the shit happens all the time.

I agree policing can be taken to bad extremes, and usually is, but my best friend's dad is a cop, and he's put his life on the line to protect people and keep the streets safe. Don't make stupid generalities like "all cops are racists and abuse power". It's like saying all people who play CS go out and shoot people.

your gonna get fucking pwned by bogues if she sees this thread.
Stop making ignorant generalities
"ALL" is a huge exaggeration as a majority of police in North America are very much honest, caring and helpful people.
There are those that break the code they once pledged to uphold and in those cases, incidences like this leave a huge scar on the publics outlook on our policing system. Manooti, that is a horrible and hurtful thing that happened to your father and I hope he gets the justice he deserves because, although police maintain order and law, they are not exempt from the rules laid down by there country.
