depends on the size of the monitor, but even the smaller one goes for at least 150

This might be a long shot but run down to your local goodwill or salvation army. From time to time people donate their old shit which may include an lcd monitor....not likely but hey...maybe just call them first. That's where I send my old shit.

If you spend $200 you can have a nice monitor rather than a piece of crap that you would most likely pick up from a pawn shop for under $100

I think I can safely assume that his budget is under $100 hence asking the question in the first place.

Well to answer the initial question. Very few lcd monitors make it under 150 so you would have come by some mega luck to get something under 100.

I chose Nashville as the area since I'm not sure what part of TN u stay in.

Ask for the model number because you have to make sure it has under 12ms MAX or you will have ghosting which sucks.

Don't cheap yourself on the monitor man... it may be only 100 bucks, but it's a 100 bucks well WASTED. Think about it, all the money put into your PC, having graphics intense games... all to be put through a crappy monitor that won't get the colours right.. or worse... your blacks will have a green tinge to it. Save up a little longer and invest in a decent monitor. Another 100 bucks on top of that and you can at least get a 20.1 inch widescreen, or a 22 inch. Go with LG, they have good quality and lower prices.
